The Hall is situated at 40 Church St., Horsley, DE21 5BR a up a short path from Church St (with a slight incline and with a handrail) levelling to a covered entrance.
In the foyer area there are three multi-use toilets. One is disabled and also has a baby changing unit. There are two general toilets.
The hall is entered through double doors. It is 15.5 metres in length and 6.9 metres wide. There are two sets of bi-fold doors at the rear of the hall, leading onto the recreation ground.
The kitchen is off the hall and has a substantial serving area with grille. It has a 5-ring hob and two ovens and a microwave. There is a fridge (an additional larder fridge is available in the storeroom) and a dishwasher. The kitchen contains a large supply of wine and beer glasses, smaller glasses and sufficient cutlery and crockery for serving 100 people.
Lights in the toilets, kitchen and storeroom are automatic. The main two sections of lighting in the hall can be dimmed.
The hall contains a projector screen. The pole for releasing it is in the storeroom.
A portable stage approx. 5m x 3m is available – it is in sections and can be configured as required.
The hall has an air handling system which brings fresh air into the hall as well as heating – which will generally be pre-set. There are no opening windows in the hall.
All windows have blinds and can be set appropriately.
The storeroom contains 100 chairs and 17 tables (varying in size).
There is a small car park (for 3 vehicles) at the rear of the hall off French Lane.
Fire extinguishers are situated throughout the building and a fire alarm system operates.
There are 9 CCTV cameras operating in and around the premises.
A small first aid kit is situated in the kitchen, above the ovens.
Two large rubbish bins – for general waste and recycling – are sited outside the kitchen door.
