The tenth running of the Horsley Village Hall Fun Run 4 mile Adult and 1.5 junior run was another successful day on Sunday.
Over 150 runners took part in the two events with numbers from 20 running clubs and many locals. On a sunny but not too hot day, runners made there way through the Derbyshire countryside and footpaths and around Horsley Golf Course before the long drag up Golden Valley and a return to the Village Hall.
Over ten years, race Director Perter Holden and Race Administrator David Pinion have ensured over £10,000 has been raised to build the new hall and now to assist with its maintenance.
Amber Valley MP, Linsey Farnworth, a resident of Horsley helped marshal the event and then presented the trophies.
